Welcome to Greatfields School
We opened in September 2016 and currently have Years 7-13, with approximately 1245 students on roll.
At Greatfields, our vision is simple: every learner should be known, challenged and empowered. We want every young person to achieve highly, but also to develop the confidence, character and ambition to make the most of the opportunities ahead of them.
Being known means that every student matters and is understood as an individual. Being challenged means having high expectations, excellent teaching and the encouragement to achieve more than they may have thought possible. Being empowered means developing the knowledge, skills and experiences to make positive choices and contribute to the world beyond school.
Our values of Kindness, Aspiration and Action underpin everything we do. We believe that strong relationships, high expectations and a genuine partnership between students, staff and families create the conditions in which young people thrive.
Greatfields is a diverse and ambitious community, and I want our students and families to feel proud of their school. My ambition is that every young person leaves us successful, confident and well prepared for their next step, with genuine choice and opportunity for the future.
